Stewartry Community Sports Club
Located in Castle Douglas, Stewartry Community Sports Club is a community based sports club. There are five sports available; Tennis, Squash, Racketball, table tennis, and a Gym. And in November 2015, the club was awarded the ‘Club of the Year Award’ by the Stewartry Sports Council.
The club provides the local area with the best sports club in Scotland for the size of town. Catering for all abilities and ages, with the youngest being 5, and the oldest 83!
Social Play
While no club session are available, booking a court for your own game is simple. You will enjoy playing on the recently refurbished courts.
Coaching
The club provides free tennis coaching for juniors and seniors throughout the season. In addition to free coaching, the team offer a range of lesson for both groups and individuals.
Competitive Tennis
The club plays in the Tennis Dumfries & Galloway Leagues. In 2016, the ladies side won the title, and the men’s side finished as the runner up in their league.
Membership
The club provides access to squash, racketball, table tennis and tennis as well as a gym, all of which are available under one membership. And with affordable pricing, you’ll enjoy being a member of Stewartry Community Sports Club .
