The Gloucester Wotton Lawn Tennis Club
The Gloucester Wotton Lawn Tennis Club has a long history dating back to 1881, making it one of the oldest clubs in the country. Situated only a mile from Gloucester city centre, the club is easy to find. An exciting year round programme of tennis is available. And all are welcome at the club.
Social Play
Each week there are many opportunities to play social tennis. There are sessions on Tuesday and Thursday evening, Monday and Thursday mornings. As well as on Saturday afternoons. So, no matter how busy you are, you’re have plenty of chances to play tennis. Of course, you can also book courts for your own games.
Coaching
The club’s LTA qualified coach offers individual coaching. There is a thriving junior section with group coaching every Saturday morning throughout the summer. Juniors are encouraged to play as often as possible.
Competitive Tennis
The club is active in the local Gloucester Summer Tennis League as well as other competitions. Players of all standards are therefore able to challenge themselves with match play.
Membership
Joining The Gloucester Wotton Lawn Tennis Club as a member is easy. Many different types of memberships are available and so the club caters to all types of tennis players.
