The Weald Lawn Tennis and Squash Racquets Club

The Weald Lawn Tennis and Squash Racquets Club is situated beneath the South Downs, just north of Brighton. With excellent tennis and squash facilities, 3 tennis coaches and a recently refurbished Clubhouse with bar, you’ll enjoy being a member of The Weald. The club was the proud winner of the LTA Tennis Sussex “Club of the Year 2013”.

 

Social Play

There is a great social tennis scene with organized doubles on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings. In addition there are club sessions on Tuesday evenings and Saturday afternoons. So, no matter how busy you are, the you can stay acitve and play tennis all year round.

 

Coaching

The coaching team runs squads for all ages and abilities as well as value for money one-to-one lessons. The coaching team will enable you to develop your tennis playing and reach your goals.

 

Competitive Tennis

The Weald runs a box leagues for juniors and seniors. 6 Men’s teams and 7 Ladies’ teams compete in a number of local and national leagues. and so, if you would like to engage in match play, there is a range of opportunities for all ages.

 

Membership

The club welcomes and caters for tennis players of all abilities including new players, rusty rackets, competitive and performance players. The Weald Lawn Tennis and Squash Racquets Club has a number of membership categories and you can also join the Club as a Social Member. As there are no joining fees or playing in tests, becoming a member is easy and open to all.
