Twickenham Lawn Tennis Club

Twickenham Lawn Tennis Club offers excellent facilities for tennis in a family-friendly atmosphere. The club has five new synthetic courts and a recently rebuilt clubhouse.

 

Social Play

The regular social tennis sessions take place on Saturday and Sunday afternoons throughout the year. As well as on Tuesday and Thursday evenings during the summer season. There are also regular mid-week playing sessions throughout the year.

 

Coaching

The qualified coaches offer group classes and individual lessons to players of all ages and abilities. The club’s Junior Tennis Programme is the envy of other clubs in the area.

 

Competitive Tennis

The club offers enjoyable and competitive tennis for players of all standards. Four Men’s and three Women’s teams play in the Middlesex team leagues during the summer season and Men’s Women’s and Veterans teams play in county competitions over the winter.

 

The club stages a full range of Club Tournaments, including an Open Tournament, a Handicap Tournament and the Winter Singles competitions as well as the Year End Play-Offs.

 

Membership

At Twickenham Lawn Tennis Club the emphasis is on participation and enjoyment. While the club charges an adult joining fee, you’re able to play at a few social sessions before joining. In addition to adult membership, the club offers a range of options.

 

Extras

The social side of the club is very strong with regular Barbecues over the summer, quiz nights, wine tastings and other events.
