Wickham Park Tennis Club

Tucked away behind the Wickham Park Club Sports Field, Wickham Park Tennis Club offers a varied programme of tennis. Whether your a beginner or advanced, you will enjoy the range of coaching, match play and playing sessions available. The club has a reputation for being very friendly and social, with families and children are very welcome.

 

The club is a non profit making members club. Owned and run by the members for the benefit of the members as well as the local community.

 

Social Play

At the heart of the club’s weekly programme is seven social tennis sessions. These allow members to turn up and mix in and enjoy playing tennis with the other members. Plus, club sessions are a superb way to work on techniques and game play tactics.

 

Coaching

Wickham Park offers a full and comprehensive coaching programme, which caters for all abilities and age groups. And ranges from beginners and social players to those at county standard and above. Wickham Park Tennis Club’s LTA qualified coaches, you will be enabled to reach your goals.

 

Competitive Tennis

The Club runs singles and doubles teams in the local Kent leagues. As well as holding regular fun tournaments. Therefore players of all standards are able to play suitable matches.

 

Membership

When it comes to membership, a range of options are available. Fees can be split into six payments or paid as a one off. Also, visitors are welcome for a small fee up to six visits per year.

 

Extras

In addition to a range of tennis, members often meet for non tennis social events throughout the year.
