Widmer End Lawn Tennis Club
Widmer End Lawn Tennis Club is a friendly family club on the outskirts of High Wycombe. A wide range of tennis is available from Mini Tennis for the youngsters to Bucks Shield matches for the more experienced. There’s really something for every tennis player at the club.
Social Play
Club Nights are held on Tuesday evenings. This is a great way to stay active and playing tennis. So, grab your racket and get on court!
Coaching
The club’s coaches hope to encourage as many people as possible to play tennis, have fun and keep fit. Therefore the team run regular group coaching session. for both adults and juniors.
Competitive Tennis
A number of teams compete throughout the year in the Bucks LTA shield, the High Wycombe District evening mixed league and Aylesbury leagues. Internally, there are a range of tournaments for mens, ladies and mixed doubles. A well as mens and ladies singles tournaments. Other special Tournaments also take place throughout the season with the emphasis on friendly and enjoyable tennis.
Membership
Widmer End Lawn Tennis Club offer a range of memberships and is open to all ages and abilities. While fees are affordable, a number of discounts are available.
