Woodfield Grove Tennis Club is Streatham’s well-kept secret! A friendly, social tennis club set among houses between the High Road and Tooting Bec Common. The club is a great place to play. And whatever your standard, you will find plenty of opportunities to join in.
Social Play
Anyone may join the club but members wishing to play in Club Sessions are required to meet a minimum standard to ensure they know how to serve, score and follow basic court etiquette. Also, members may use the courts outside club sessions.
Coaching
The club has a great tennis coaching team headed by Karin Govan, WGTC’s Head Teaching Pro. The team offers coaching which caters for adults and juniors, includes individual or group sessions for beginners right through to advanced players.
Also, coaching is available to help newcomers attain the required minimum standard for Club Sessions or help to improve their games.
Competitive Tennis
The club field several teams in the Surrey and local competitions. And as a result, offers competitive play for a range of levels and ages.
