Woodlands Lawn Tennis Club

Woodlands Lawn Tennis Club is a friendly and successful club situated in the seaside town of Weston-super-Mare. The club aims to offer a range of playing experiences for all members.

Social Play

Social tennis for full senior members is available on Saturday afternoons throughout the year, where you can just turn up and be assured of a game. During the summer, Friday evenings are also allocated as club sessions and non-members can come along for a small cost.

Members are able to book courts during the week, using the booking charts in the clubhouse.

Coaching

There is a coaching programme for our younger players and regular fun activities to encourage their love of tennis. Sadly there’s no coaching for adults. So, if you’re looking for a range of coaching, it may be best to look at other local tennis clubs.

Competitive Tennis

Both men’s and women’s teams in the North Somerset Summer League. As well as with mixed teams in the Winter League. And as a result, the club is always on the look for more competitive tennis players. The club also arranges a number of friendly tournaments throughout the year and there are also club championships to enter.

Membership

Woodlands Lawn Tennis Club offers a variety of levels of membership. So, the club offers an opportunity for all to join and enjoy playing tennis.

Extras

Social events including skittles, quiz nights and charity events are organised as well as the very popular Christmas dinner!
