Writtle Tennis Club
Writtle Tennis Club is a small but vibrant tennis club located in the heart of Writtle Village. Established in the early 1960’s, the club is situated within Writtle Sports and Social Club. The friendly and welcoming club provides competitive matches, coaching and social tennis all year round for players of all ages and abilities.
Social Play
If you enjoy a more social tennis game, the members meet on Wednesday evenings, Friday evenings and Sunday mornings. These are open to all standards and provide a superb way to improve your game. Also as the members are very friendly, these club sessions are a great way to make new friends!
Coaching
Want to improve your game? Then 3 club coaches are available. The club’s extensive coaching programme is open to both junior and adults, in either individual or group sessions. So, there’s never been a better time to work on your serve, backhand or match play!
Competitive Tennis
Writtle Tennis Club loves to compete. There are a range of competitive fixtures against other clubs and leagues play all year round. Therefore whatever your standard, you have the chance to challenge yourself with some match play.
Membership
Fancy joining? You’re welcome to visit up to three times before committing. A range of membership options are available, catering to all types of tennis players.

In addition to the excellent clubhouse with bar, the club is a very social club which organises trips to Wimbledon as well as annual holidays!
