Aylsham Tennis Club

Located at the Aylsham Recreation Ground, Aylsham Tennis Club is a long standing community tennis club run by a small committee of volunteers. The club’s members are of all ages and abilities and enjoy both social and competitive tennis. An extensive coaching programme for children from 4 years of age and for adults is also available.


Social Play

The two weekly club evenings for members on Monday and Wednesday evenings, enable all to join in and play some tennis in a relaxed setting. In addition, these evenings are superb way to meet other members.



The club’s extensive coaching programme for starts with mini tennis for children from the age of 4. Weekly junior sessions are open to children over the age of 10 and enable them to develop their tennis skills. Holiday camps and friendly competitions are also on offer for children. For adults, there is a weekly group session and individual coaching session are also available.


Competitive Tennis

For those who enjoy competitive tennis, five teams compete in local leagues. These are comprised of two ladies, one men’s, one mixed and one mixed veterans’ team. Club tournaments add further competitive options.



Aylsham Tennis Club offers extremely competitive annual membership fees, which range from £22 for juniors up to £99 for a family membership. Visitors can use the courts thanks to the club’s pay and play scheme.



As a LTA registered club, members of Aylsham can enter the Wimbledon ballot and also get access to a range of benefits.
