Bethersden Tennis Club

Established in 1977, Bethersden Tennis Club, a thriving club situated in the heart of the village. The Tennismark accredited Club is run by and for the members. The club provides social and competitive tennis for all ages and abilities.

 

Social Play

At the heart of the club are social play sessions. Members of all standards are welcome to join in any of these social tennis sessions. Monday evenings are mens. On Thursday mornings ladies meet for social doubles and in the evening, there is also a general club night. Cardio tennis takes places on a Friday. Finishing the week is another club session on Sunday morning.

 

Coaching

Delivered by a team of qualified LTA coaches, A comprehensive coaching programme for juniors and adults is available. The club also has a thriving junior membership and aims to encourage the next generation.

 

Competitive Tennis

For those who wish to play competitive tennis, the Club runs ladies, men and mixed teams in the Ashford and District League and Kent Leagues. There is also club several tournaments throughout the year.

 

Membership

Bethersden Tennis Club offers very affordable membership and therefore is often over subscribed. Preference is given to those living in the local village. Other local residents, can however ask to join the club’s waiting list.

 

Extras

In addition to a superb tennis programme, the club hosts many fun social events throughout the year. The highlight of which is the very popular end of season dinner.
