Broadstairs and St Peter’s Lawn Tennis Club

Formed on 9th June 1939, Broadstairs and St Peter’s Tennis Club has members of all ages and all standards. Affiliated to the LTA and KLTA, the club is a fantastic local community sports facility.

 

In 2009 the Club was awarded the prestigious Tennis Clubmark. This means the Lawn Tennis Association endorses and supports a clubs tennis programme, policies and procedures, action and development planning, and club management.

 

Social Play

Social tennis take place all year round and really is at the heart of the club. Turn up and play sessions are available on Sunday, Monday and Wednesday mornings as well as on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. All five sessions are open and welcoming.

 

Coaching

Those who wish to take up tennis for the first time can get help and support through the club’s coaching system. Juniors benefit from a well established coaching programme. One to one coaching is also available for all standards with the head coach.

 

Competitive Tennis

The club is active in many leagues yet retains a friendly environment. Teams competes in both the Kent and East Kent summer and winter leagues. Also club teams compete in the AEGON team tennis league. Club tournaments take place during the year and enable members to enjoy some friendly match play.

 

Membership

Broadstairs and St Peter’s Tennis Club offers a range of memberships. Also non members are welcome to visit for up to 3 months after which they will need to join.
