David Lloyd Clubs Hatfield
Located close to the university, David Lloyd Clubs Hatfield is based in The Hangar and there’s some brilliant history to the building. It was built back in the 1950s and is the only remaining aircraft hangar in Hatfield. It’s now a Grade II listed building and used to house a control tower, offices and fire station.
There’s a really varied range of sports at the club. So, there’s bound to be something you’ll like. The club’s range of fitness activities includes swimming, a gym, exercises classes, as well as racquets.
Social Play
Tennis is really popular at David Lloyd Hatfield, whether that’s with the youngest or oldest members, beginners or seasoned-pros! With indoor and outdoor courts, you really can play all year round. Playing tennis on the indoor courts, members know that they are standing where all sorts of aircrafts from the past used to be stored. The expert coaches offers fantastic coaching for players of all ages and abilities. In additiion to a range of groups sessions each week, the team are available for one-to-one lessons. So whether you’re just starting out, or you want to get into competitive tennis, the club’s coaches will help you improve much faster.
Plus, Kids can sign up to the All Stars tennis programme. Designed to teach children essential tennis skills while they’re still young in a fun engaging way.
