Greenwood Park Lawn Tennis Club

Greenwood Park Lawn Tennis Club is a friendly neighbourhood tennis club aimed at meeting the needs of the local community. Players of all abilities are welcomed and we try to offer tennis at all levels

Social Play

Regular social tennis sessions take place weekly on Thursday evenings and Sundays mornings. Also, on Thursday mornings members and non-members meet to play a more social game of tennis. For non-members, this is on a ‘pay and play’ basis.

Juniors meet for social tennis on Fridays afternoons and it’s always a popular session.

Coaching

Greenwood Park’s Head Coach is Sam Pink. Sam is an LTA Level 4 qualified coach and has over 20 years’ experience coaching junior and adult players, from beginner to advanced. He offers a jam-packed weekly programme of group coaching for all ages. As well as Cardio tennis and private lessons.

Competitive Tennis

With 18 teams in various competitive leagues, there’s nowhere better to play competitively in Hertfordshire! And as result, the club is always on the lookout for more competitive players.

Membership

New members are always welcome at Greenwood Park Lawn Tennis Club. Especially as there’s no a joining fee, no ‘playing-in’ procedure, and no ‘all-whites’ rule for clothing. Members may play with guests or bring them to Club social sessions for a small fee.

Also, a court is available for non-members. As is the Kidszone mini-court. You can either pay online or at the newsagents at the top of Tippendell Lane.
