Helensburgh Lawn Tennis Club

As a friendly tennis club, Helensburgh Lawn Tennis Club always offers a warm welcome. And so, all ages and abilities of player in Helensburgh and the surrounding area are catered for. The club has been in existence since 1884. However, the club’s recent history includes recognition by Tennis Scotland and Tennis West. Both organizations chose the club as the prestigious ‘Club of the Year’ for the 2003/04 season.

 

Social Play

The club holds a wide range of social tennis events, throughout the year. These events cater for all ages and abilities. Also as tennis is played all the year round, it is amazing to see how many members turn out on a winter’s evening!

 

Coaching

Members benefit from an excellent coaching programme, which has been developed over recent years. All ages and abilities from four years upwards can join the relevant coaching programme. Most noticeably, the standard of junior tennis has increased significantly.

 

Competitive Tennis

In addition to superb social tennis program, the club competes in the West of Scotland League. Mens, ladies, mixed and vets teams are active in the league. This provides plenty of competitive tennis opportunities.

 

Membership

Helensburgh Lawn Tennis Club offers adult, family, junior and non playing membership amongst others. Overall, the membership fees are affordable.

 

Extras

Finally, the Helensburgh Lawn Tennis Club clubhouse is available for hire for club meetings or private events.
