Horsmonden Lawn Tennis Club is a thriving club in the Weald of Kent. The club aims to inspire and nurture a love of tennis in all members.
Whatever your age ability or background, the club enables everyone the opportunity to enjoy playing tennis and fulfil their potential, whether competitively or socially.
The club will continually strive to be a flagship village club at the heart of the community by evolving and developing its facilities and policies to reflect the changing needs of its membership.
Social Play
The club offers a wide range of regular activities throughout the year. These include many social tennis, events and tournaments to suit differing abilities.
Coaching
The club’s coach, Zane Cheeseman was Kent LTA Coach of the Year 2013. His company HotShotZ Tennis runs an exciting coaching programme for players of all standards.
With half of the members under 18, inspiring youngsters with a love of tennis is a club priority. There are regular coaching sessions and tournaments as well as popular free Sunday Junior Club Afternoons. Young players are actively encouraged to gain match experience from an early age.
Competitive Tennis
Men’s, ladies’ and mixed teams compete in several local leagues, both through summer and winter.
Membership
While Horsmonden Lawn Tennis Club does a charge a joining fee, the overall cost of joining including the annual fees are affordable. Plus with 8 types of memberships, the club caters to a wide range of tennis players.
