Located in Hitchin, Kimpton Tennis Club welcomes new members to join their friendly tennis club. With an exciting programme of tennis, members enjoy playing all year round.
Social Play
There are club tennis on Wednesday evenings for adults and Wednesday afternoon for juniors. These are open to all and members turn up and play doubles. As well as keeping fit, these sessions are superb for meeting new friends.
Coaching
Steve Bone is an LTA licensed coach and is in charge of the club’s coaching programme. With coaching open to all abilities from beginners to advanced levels, Steve will enable you to grow and develop your skills. The club has an active junior section with a regular club night and coaching sessions.
Competitive Tennis
If you’re after more match play, then club teams compete in many of the local leagues. Teams are active in the Datchworth Summer and Autumn Leagues, and the Herts Vets League as well as others. There are also club tournaments and competitions run for seniors and juniors. and as a result, the club offers a range of match play for all standards.
Membership
Kimpton Tennis Club is an inclusive club which offers a range of membership options. All of which are affordable.
Extras
Off court, members like to meet for social events, which happen throughout the year.
