Newton St Cyres Tennis Club
Newton St Cyres Tennis Club is a friendly village tennis club based in Newton St. Cyres, just north of Exeter. Players of all ages and standards are welcome.
Social Play
There are several club sessions during the week, on Thursday night and on Sunday afternoon. As well as two weekday sessions on Tuesday and Friday afternoons. Members can also book courts for their own games outside the club’s programme.
Coaching
Club coach, Toby Harradence offers both individual and group lessons for juniors and adults. There is a strong tradition of junior coaching at the club. Juniors are encouraged to get involved in tournaments, match plays and other club activities. Toby, also offers a racket stringing service.
Competitive Tennis
For the more competitive, the club runs 6 adult teams in local leagues in the Summer leagues. As well as 4 teams in the Winter leagues. A number of club tournaments take place each summer. Therefore tennis of all levels have the chance to play competitively for the club.
Membership
Whether you want to just play in winter or all year round, Newton St Cyres Tennis Club offers six different types of membership. In terms of fees, Adult membership cost just under £2 per week and is affordable.
