Teign Valley Tennis Club

Over the last 30 years the Teign Valley Tennis Club (Teign Tennis Trust) has developed into a thriving club. The club’s main aim is to involve as many people in tennis regardless of playing aptitude or age. Not just a social tennis club, with teams competing in local leagues.

Social Play

There are 2 Club sessions every week throughout the year on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. These sessions are open to adult members, and to more capable juniors on invitation by the committee.

Coaching

The club’s Senior Performance Coach (LTA Level 4) runs junior and adult coaching sessions all year round. So, if you need some help with your serve or match play, coaching is available.

Competitive Tennis

There a load of competitive opportunities on offer at Teign Valley Tennis Club. 6 club teams compete in the Ladies League, Mens League and Mixed East Devon League. During the summer there is also friendly mixed doubles against local clubs. These events enable all who are interested in match play an opportunity to test their abilities. Also the club hosts several family and adult tournaments during the year, often accompanied with a BBQ.

Membership

Fees at Teign Valley Tennis Club are affordable. For example, annual adult membership costs just over £1 per week. In addition to many options, the club also offers family holiday membership, which lasts a week and enables the whole family to use the club’s facilities. So consider joining today!
