Tunbridge Wells Lawn Tennis Club

Tunbridge Wells Lawn Tennis Club is one of the oldest Tennis Clubs in the country and one of the largest in South East England. The club offers a thriving tennis programme all year round as well as many social events. So whatever your level or age, there’s something for you at the club.

Social Play

The Club organises various social mix-ins each week on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. Just turn up and play on the clay courts, or, during the summer and weather permitting, on the grass. On Tuesday and Thursday evenings, and on Sunday the bar is open.

Coaching

There is a great Coaching programme on offer, for players at every skill level. 6 well-qualified coaches are available and offer a full programme of adult and junior coaching every day of the week. And a lively Junior section with regular Friday evening club night.

Competitive Tennis

The more competitive players are able to join in regular tournaments and Club Leagues for all levels. Also, the club competes with 25 teams in the Kent and Maidstone Leagues.

Membership

Whatever your level of play, if you have recently moved to the area, are returning to tennis or taking up the game for the first time, Tunbridge Wells Lawn Tennis Club looks forward to welcoming you to the club.

While the club does charge a joining fee, overall membership costs are affordable with many options available.

Extras

The Clubhouse features a café bar and table tennis table. The bar is often the venue for the club’s regular social events. These events includes food nights and music events for all ages.
