West Herts and Watford Lawn Tennis Club
Located in the heart of Watford within the grounds of West Herts Sports Club, Park Avenue. West Herts and Watford Lawn Tennis Club aims to provide excellent tennis facilities. As well as a fantastic range of opportunities for all ages and levels in a friendly and relaxed environment.
Social Play
Each week members enjoy meeting for open social play, where they enjoy playing with others. Members also have access to the courts for their own games outside the club’s programme.
Coaching
The club provides two qualified coaches to meet all existing and new members’ needs, offering group or individual coaching.
In the junior section, players enjoy social and coaching sessions and can move on to team tennis competing in the Aegon team tennis.
Competitive Tennis
The club caters for competitive players with teams playing in Hertfordshire Leagues, Watford and District leagues and the Hot Rackets series. There’s also club tournaments all year round from Club and Handicap, and Winter Box League Singles and Doubles League. As well as monthly mid-week and Bank Holiday Specials.
Membership
With a massive 13 membership packages, joining West Herts and Watford Lawn Tennis Club is simple. As a member of the club, you have access to the sports club’s clubhouse and bar. You can even hire the function room at a reduced rate.
