Wodson Park Sports and Leisure Centre

Wodson Park Sports and Leisure Centre is owned and operated by Wodson Park Trust a community-based charity providing sports and recreation facilities for the people of East Hertfordshire.


The centre’s three Sports Halls, Aerobics Studio, Fitness Suite and Meeting Rooms provide facilities for over 30 different Indoor sports, fitness, wellbeing and leisure activities. Whereas Wodson Park’s floodlit, Outdoor Sports facilities enable you to train, compete or just ‘Play for Fun’ all year round.


Social Play

While the club doesn’t an organized programme, you can easily book a court for your own games year round. Plus courts are available to non-members on a pay and play basis.



LTA qualified coach, Tracy Lewellyn offers individual and group tennis lessons for children and adults. So, if your serve needs some work or you would like some tips on your match play, then help is available. 


Competitive Tennis

No competitive tennis is on offer at Wodson Park. While you could organize your own friendlies, if you’re after serious competitive play then it might be best to look at other local tennis clubs.



Unlike the majority of other sports centres and gyms, Wodson Park Sports and Leisure Centre has no hidden charges and no minimum joining periods. At Wodson Park, both Members and Non-Members are welcome to use the extensive facilities. Members can Pay-As-You-Go, or buy Monthly or Annual Season tickets. Whereas Non-Members can Pay-As-You-Go.
