Wymondley Tennis Club

Wymondley Tennis Club is a small club, tucked away on the southern fringes of Little Wymondley, a village in a triangle bounded by Stevenage, Hitchin and Letchworth. The club’s excellent facilities are mirrored by it’s programme. Whether you enjoy a social game or are looking for more match play, the club offers both and so much more!

Social Play

Each week there are two turn up and mix in session. These are a great way to meet new people, play some tennis and work on your game. And of course, when not in use, courts are available for members to book.

Coaching

While there is no coaching programme available, members are always willing to give tips and tricks on how you can improve. Should you wish to have professional coaching, the club can recommend a few.

Competitive Tennis

The club enters several teams into both the Summer and Autumn Datchworth Leagues. As well as a number of in-house annual competitions, which have been running for many years.

Membership

Although a number of Wymondley Tennis Club members live in the village, many do not. Adult membership is £80 per year and both junior and student memberships are also available. For those that have never been club members before, there is the option of a three month trial membership.

Extras

Wymondley Tennis Club has a friendly social scene at the club with BBQs and, friendly tournaments. As well as the occasional visit to the village pub!
