Fakenham Tennis Club
Fakenham Tennis Club is a small and friendly club, which is part of Fakenham Sports Centre. Located next to Fakenham Race Course, the club is easy to find and has plenty of parking. The club offers an exciting programme for all ages.
Social Play
Adult Club sessions consist of Men’s, Ladies & mixed doubles sets, with everyone mixing in & changing partners & opponents after each set. These sessions take place on Wednesday evenings and Sunday mornings. Youngster are welcome to join with the senior club. Along as they are at a standard where they can mix in with the senior members and have an enjoyable game. After social play, members usually enjoy a drink in Fakenham Sports Club’s bar!
Coaching
Becky Palmer, a qualified LTA coach, runs junior coaching sessions on Monday evenings. She is also available for individual junior coaching. However, the club doesn’t offer any adult coaching.
Competitive Tennis
Fakenham Tennis Club has teams in various local leagues and so provides a range of competitive play. There is a mixed team in the Castle Acre league. As well as men’s and ladies teams in the City league in Norwich.
Membership
With very affordable membership fees, it’s worth joining Fakenham Tennis Club. Adult membership costs just over £1 per week and the club also offers various junior memberships.
