Lister Tennis Club

Lister Tennis Club is a friendly, family orientated club with a strong emphasis on junior tennis. People of all abilities are welcome and have a range of social play opportunities, coached groups and competitive tennis for all levels and ages from beginner to advanced player.

Social Play

There’s weekly club sessions, which provide all members with a number of opportunities to play tennis. And as the centre has both indoor and outdoor courts, you can play all year round. Plus you can easily hire a court for your own game, and you don’t even need to be a member as pay and play is available.

Coaching

The club’s coaching programme starts at tots level and continues through the mini tennis levels up to an ever-expanding adult programme. As well as term time coaching holiday camps, tournaments, individual coaching and children’s parties are all available.

Competitive Tennis

As the focus is on coaching, social play and court hire, there is no competitive tennis available. However, many local clubs do offer a range and so it might be best to consider those first.

Membership

While you can use the courts on a pay and play basis, membership of Lister Tennis Club offers many benefits. Plus with a number of packages, no matter your age or requirements, the club will warmly welcome you.

Such an underrated club towards the north of Herts. Cannot speak highly enough of Melanie and Rob who work here and made my son and I feel incredibly welcome. Initially wanted to learn how to play tennis, however they now cater for my son on various camp and holiday activities as well. Great prices and well worth a visit.
